Daniel Murawske, a sophmore at Harbor Beach High School, is the 1st place winner of the Right to Life Oratory contest that was conducted     on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at the Huron Area Technical Center.  He
was awared $100 for his efforts by the Huron County Right to Life.
     
He spoke on "The Slaughter of Innocent" known to the public as abortion.He said, "We should pray that God will change the hearts of the pro-choice workers, the women who are considering abortions, for those that have had abortions and for those in the pro-life movement that God will give them the strength to carr on this important work."
   
A couple of exerts from Daniel's oratory:
"No one know what God had planned for these aborted babies."
"Every human life is sacred.  The murder of human beings is the graves of all crimes.  The intrinsic evil is an act of violence against a human life and a contradiction of the most fundamental principle of the pro-life movement: our very existence has been willed by God, blessed and given a purpose."
 
Daniel has the opportunity to compete at the Right to Life Oratory Contest at the State level in Holt on Satuday, May 8, 2010, where prizes are $500 for 1st,$300 for 2nd and $200 for 3rd.

 

 

EVENTS

  • Meeting schedule:  the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Huron Area Technical Center (with the exception of July and August; we meet at Oswald Hall next to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in BA)
  • We are looking for volunteers to work at the Huron County Right to Life booth
